Priority Solutions International Expands Memphis-based Cold Chain Logistics Capacity

Major expansion to life science distribution center provides 68% increase in order capacity to meet growing cold chain logistics needs for pharma and biotech customers.

SWEDESBORO, NEW JERSEY (September 19, 2016) – To address the growing demand for cold chain logistics services, Priority Solutions International, a Thermo Fisher Scientific brand, today announced the expansion of its Memphis-based state-of-the-art GMP[1] facility. Priority Solutions International, a market leader in commercial pharmaceutical sample distribution services, uses Memphis for its strategically located primary hub. Priority Solutions International also provides trade fulfillment as well as a broad range of global transportation and premium courier services.

The resulting design provides a capacity increase of 68% and a quality-focused system that supports a corporate commitment to order accuracy and product integrity. 

The first phase of the expansion began in Q2 2016 and concludes in Q4 2016. A second phase to increase refrigerated storage capacity by 50% has been fully designed and will be implemented based on client demand.
